Dietary

I believe in a comprehensive approach to nutrition that extends beyond an initial assessment. During our first meeting, I will gather detailed information about your health history, signs and symptoms, past and current relationship with food, activity level, stress levels, any previous dietary experiences and your goals to create a personalized plan tailored to your needs. However, I can’t help you work towards your goals in just one session which is why I recommended follow up sessions. This ongoing support ensures you have the guidance and tools to achieve and maintain your goals, making your journey toward a better relationship with food as successful as possible. In our follow-up sessions, I focus on actively listening to your experiences and challenges as you work towards your goals. My aim is to build a supportive and empowering partnership that fosters lasting, positive changes in your health and well-being.

EMDR

EMDR therapy is an evidence-based tool designed to help you heal from past traumas and emotional challenges. It combines talk therapy with guided eye movements or other forms of gentle stimulation to help you process difficult memories and move forward with greater ease.

We start by discussing what’s troubling you and what you hope to achieve. This helps us tailor the therapy to your unique experiences. During sessions, you’ll focus on specific memories while following guided movements or sounds. This helps your mind process these memories more naturally and reduces their emotional impact. As we work through these memories, we’ll begin to shift the way you think and feel about them. This helps you replace old, negative beliefs with more positive, realistic ones. We’ll use techniques to help you feel grounded and calm, making sure you leave each session feeling more balanced and in control. We’ll regularly check in on your progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure you continue to make strides toward your goals.
